I used to have as one of the favorites on my computer a movie newsgroup whose main purpose was identifying for questioning posters movies they could describe but not remember the title of. My computer recently crashed and while I was able to reconstruct almost everything else, I have not been able to get that newsgroup. I do not remember its name and there are simply too many newsgroups with movie, or movies, or film, etc. in the title to try them all. Can anyone recommend a good newsgroup which serves this function?
rec.arts.movies.past-films is a good one.
Just don’t ask them to identify the film where a plane crashes in the desert, and then the passengers start vanishing one by one until there’s only one left. They get annoyed at that one.
