All of mine have been mentioned so far or have posted to this thread, except for two: Phlosphr and Gorlliaman. I probably mispelled one of those, sorry if I have. Anyways, those are two posters that will always have my attention once they post. Phlosphr especially; I would say he is a man after my own heart. Likes philosophy, is a prof., and planned on building a super cool treehouse awhile back. Plus, he has never pissed me off or annoyed me in the least, so that is good.

Err…yup, Polycarp is a boy. And he has veiws that I disagree with, but way of general intelligence and decencey I have to respect them. If only all Christians could be like him. And the rest of us salty bitches like Eve. Then everything would be alright.

Wow, i’m very surprised and honored.
I tend to assume that i fly under people’s radar for the most part, except when i’m engaged in last-Doper-standing debates and/or flameouts with one of my SDMB nemeses.
You can be sure, Gadarene, that the admiration is mutual.
Moving on to other Dopers (i feel it would be somewhat gratuitous to simply name the person who named me), i find it hard to choose two from among the many.
For the moment, i’m gonna go with:
World Eater: we certainly don’t agree on everything (witness the recent thread on medical malpractice and personal injury lawsuits), but he’s always good value in a debate. He’s also very helpful with computer issues and such. (actually, if i named everyone on these boards who’s helped me with computer things, i’d need a whole new thread.)
elucidator: always funny, and shares my politics. Also, is more easily able to remain calm in the face of conservative self-righteousness than i am.
These are, in the spirit of the OP, rather random, but represent my true opinion nonetheless. On another day, it could easily be two other people.
But really, i loves ya all!

Lobsang - sometimes off the wall, sometimes really deep, always himself, though. Being real means a lot.
Aesiron - most improved poster. A true Trek fan, so you know I would like 'em. But, recently, he’s broken out of whatever shell he seemed to be in and really rocks! Both with thought provoking questions and with well worded posts. Plus, he rules as an admin on my little board.
tracer - wit, passion, ideals.
Skipmagic - 'cause he’s a smarmy bastard.
