I have had very fond feelings about Chairman Pow ever since he described his ideal vacation as a forced march through whatever locale he is vacationing in. There are very few people in this world, it seems, who share my idea of a Fun Time, including, I am sad to report, Mr. Del.
I am always impressed by Sampiro’s posts, I like his wit and he raises some interesting topics for discussion.

Tamerlane. I’ve never seen him get pissy, he’s always spot on in his facts. A hero of the Straight Dope.
Una Perrson (nee Anthracite). Another person whose facts are always right, although she has been known to get pissy. From time to time.
I’m always astonished when people try to argue with them. Don’t they know that they are engaging in futile behavior?
Polycarp and Eve . I fail to see why any explaination should be necessary. 
Well Polycarp is the biggest proponent of a concept about which my views and perception is completely opposite. but I still like her as a doper.
(assuming Polycarp is a she. I’ve always thought of her as a she. If he’s a he then don’t I look stupid)
