Name the 50 bands or solo artists in this image

Green Door.
Steps.

Obviously, It’s A Beautiful Day.

Mountain (poster in window)

They are female sheep. There are a pair of them. The creator of this cartoon must die. (U2/Ewe2)

Katy Perry (two bottles on table)

Probably “Robin Thicke.”

(Because the robin is thick.)

Pet Shop Boys (in the “Pets 4U” window— an homage to the cover of their debut album, “Actually”)
UB40 (button on shirt of man eating corn)
Shaggy? (front of ice cream truck)
Broken Radio
Mister Softee?

What I found before I gave up and read the replies:

White Zombie
Bare Naked Ladies
Crash Test Dummies
Men at Work
The Carpenters
Flock of Seagulls

I wonder, is that a Puddle of Mud under the table with the bread?

Soft Cell? (Mr Softee ice cream van for sale)

What does the nativity scene signify? At first glance I figured it was The Jesus and Mary Chain, but I don’t see any chains.

The Hollies (corners of the roof).
Dead Kennedys (guy under the van)?
Siouxsie and the Banshees.
Neal Diamond (kneeling guy with the diamond).
Joy Division (joystick)

Missed the edit window.

The Cranberries.
Bananarama.
King Crimson.

I think the guy under the van is The Grateful Dead - he is doing a thumbs up, and I think the note says thanks. The ones getting ice cream might be Propellerheads.

Oops, you’re right. I withdraw Dead Kennedys.

Cake.
Tool (the carpenters have a saw and a hammer)

Clever!

…I think we’re gonna end up with a lot more than 50!

Part of the problem here is that one can take almost any word or phrase, and find some band somewhere, somewhen who was named that.

That’s a feature rather than a problem, I think.

N-Trance.

Scooter. (a German happy hardcore, rave and techno music band, apparently)

Hijack, but how does one successfully mush together “happy” and “hardcore” and make it work?

ETA: I guess Germans are good at mushing two words together, as a feature of their language …

Like Wolfmother?
Hot Chip
Long Pigs
White Stripes

Some of the text is hard to make out (“Kings of Leon”)

Start at 180 bpm.

Guy running with scissors: its a tailor. And he’s running swiftly…
