Meat loaf (on the table)

I think The Zombies is incorrect. There is only one member of the walking dead, and he is exceedingly pale, so I believe the band being referenced here is White Zombie.

-“BB”-

Several of which I’m dubious about.

Animals, Byrds - probably not. The various animals shown are part of other band names.

Bananarama - Maybe. I’m not 100% convinced. I see bananas, but no -ama. And what does the … viking helmet(?) … mean?

Green Door - dubious. Probably just an incidental detail. If it’s deliberate, then I’d say it’s more likely to be The Doors.

Hot Chip - the guy eating fries? No clear indication that it’s hot. I’m dubious.

Men Without Hats - almost certainly not intended.

Mountain - I’m not even seeing a mountain.

Siouxsie and the Banshees. - Where are the banshees? Maybe just Siouxsie Sioux.

Steps - I’m not seeing any staircase, and only one person walking, taking a single step. Probably not intentional.

The Zombies, as explained by the previous poster.

Also, you missed Santana.

Have we any explanations for the following details, that look like they are probably significant?

  1. The viking helmet (If that’s what it is) on the banana
  2. The talking candles
  3. Baby Jesus fallen out of his crib
  4. The wanted poster, and the Santa that looks like the poster. Maybe Dead Or Alive, but I’m dubious)
  5. the guy eating ice cream with a long tongue out.
  6. the cow saying moo moo
  7. the three cups of tea, with tags M-G-M

I think it’s banana armour.
The steps are the ones the carpenter’s standing on.

That means the loaf of bread cannot be referring to the band ‘Bread’ … or can an image be used more than once? If that’s the case, then the crows, the seagulls, the robin, and the doves are indeed ‘The Byrds’, and the aggregation of livestock = The Animals.

-“BB”-

That makes sense.

Add Bread to the list of dubious ones. Meat Loaf is far more likely.

As the one who suggested Bread, I agree. Meat Loaf is much more likely. Ditto White Zombie. I’m a child of the 60’s, what can I say?

Peter_Morris - Mountain is the poster in the pet shop window for “Everest & Co.”

What about the older guy with what looks like his grandson?

Why not Everest, then.

LCD Sound System (boombox)

Santa has a NA patch on his jacket and he looks like the wanted poster figure…

MGMT !!

Also … Turns out there is such a band …

Turns out there is a band called The Bears.

I, for one, have never heard of them, but then again I don’t follow rock and pop much. For instance, I never heard of MGMT either. Anyone know them? Is it likely that the bears in the manger scene is a deliberate reference?

Tiny Lights (on Santa’s Grotto)

Santa-na, now I get it.

I keep coming back to the wanted poster on the side of the shed. The face is same as Santa’s. And what about the N/A name tag?

Santana. As has been twice pointed out.

Okay, thanks.

Could be The Wanted; they did have some top-10 hits.

There is what looks like a straight razor hanging from the shed lights. Any clue what that could be?

Razor?

Razorlight
