As an IT professional I am once again humbled by my inability to find something on the IMdb. <sigh>
There are two motorcycle gangs, they live like medieval knights, with jousting and such, and high ideas about honor and bravery etc. It was made in the late 70s or so. I think one (or more) of the stars went on to have a big(ger) career. That’s all I remember.
That would be it. Damn, I searched for “knights” and “motorcycles”, I just don’t see how I missed it. I couldn’t think of the word “chivalry”, I think that would have clinched it.
Great film, BTW. I think I started a thread about it before, or someone did.
I saw Knightriders at the L.A. Film Expo (or something like that) when it came out. I was a big Romero fan, and really enjoyed Dawn of the Dead. I was expecting a gore-fest. Instead, I saw a gentle film about “right vs. wrong” with amost no blood. And I loved it. Romero was there, too. He’s freakishly tall. Freak!!! Just kidding. He is tall, though. He seemed rather nervous.
In retrospect, the film is a bit flawed; but it’s still one of my favourites, and I watch the DVD from time to time.
