OK, I’m officially getting old. Now I can’t even remember the movies I love. :smack: Thankfully, there’s The Dope!
There was this DVD Mrs. Kerrman and I watched late last year that I thought was fairly new at the time. It was a romantic comedy but wasn’t a big-name movie, IIRC.
A young woman’s boyfriend/husband dies and she ends up moving in with the guys’ friends. They don’t like her much; think she’s stuck-up.
She finds out the guy had been having an affair and there was a question of whether this kid was his or not. The “other woman” shows up on the friends’ doorstep and she’s a real spaz and the kid – about 3 or 4 y.o.? – ended up not being his and the group of friends didn’t know what to do about it.
The lead actress has an affair with one of the friends and it causes some consternation because the other friend really liked her. There’s also a subplot about the guy’s super stuckup mother.
I want to say they were in Colorado. It does have the Hollywood happy ending but most of the movie is fairly somber.
I cannot even remember a single actors’ name from the movie, or I’d try IMDB.
Thanks,
JK
