Dear SDMB:
I would like to lodge a complaint about this thread. It is obviously of no importance and being played just for laughs. The SDMB is a serious message board where serious people discuss serious topics in a serious manner. It is not a free-for-all which is used for purposes of amusement.
Sincerely,
Iva Bigbody.
Dear SDMB.
I wish to lodge a complaint about the previous post. It was obviously written by a fictional character with a childishly silly name.
Yours truly,

Dear SDMB,
I would like to lodge a complaint about the previous post. The writer beat me to the punch, and he’s a big poopyhead besides.

Dear SDMB,
I would like to lodge a complaint about the previous post. I am bored, & spiteful & bitter & old, & dislike Molvanians. Posting complaints makes me happy.

What’s fifty-three? Sixty-nine is what number the Bills and Teds were thinking of (in front of the Circle K) and forty-two has cosmic significance, but I don’t get fifty-three.
On the other hand, I need about three-fiddy.
“The Doctor” or “Doctor” is the title by which the mysterious Timelord refers to himself, as a mark of his self-chosen exile from his native world, Gallifrey.
Apparently foreswearing one’s name and adopting a title is a practice of renegade Timelords, such as The Master and The Rani. Timelords have multisyllabic names which apparently are a description of who they are and their background, though most go by the first two or three syllables of their full name. One young female Timelord, Romanadvoratrelundar, disliked being called “Romana”, for whatever significance those syllables had in the Timelord language. Gallifreyans studying to become Timelords at academy also are known by nicknames which translate to Greek letters: the Doctor rebuked a former classmate for calling him Theta Sigma, and one legendary Timelord is referred to simply as Omega.
There have been multiple teasers throughout the series that the syllable “Who” is a part of the Doctor’s name, although the Doctor himself claims that his true name is unpronouncable by humans.
Check the number on the post I quoted.
LOL, sorry. I totally forgot to wind my watch. I even reminded me to do it, too.
Oh, and does anyone have three-fiddy on them?
Go to your room! I’m very cross with you! Go… to… your… room!
(I’m glad that worked. Those would have been terrible last words.)
I ain’t giving you no tree-fiddy, you goddamn Loch Ness Monster! Get your own goddamn money!
Damn straight! Loch Ness Monster. More like Loch Ness Moocher.
Enough with this doctoring thing! What I want to know is
Who is in The Band?
No, The Who is the band. Unless you mean Ronnie Hawkins’s former band that hooked up with some guy from Minnesota named Zimmerman.
We can’t answer that, you’ll have to Guess Who yourself.
