You do know Pelosi (as subject of the OP) was commenting on reactions to and votes for Hillary during a Democratic primary, right? What does this have to do with McCain and any potential Republican administration in general?
Word. I’ve concluded that the Dems attract the youth vote because they think along similar lines.
A young person who has a accident will say, “The car just went out of control.” Ignore the fact that you were doing 50 in a 25 while talking on your cell phone.
A young person who flunks a test will say, “The teacher hated me.” Lack of studying had no bearing, whatsoever.
Likewise, the Dems don’t lose an election because their candidate sucked, it’s because Diebold rigged it.
They didn’t win because their platform is crap, it’s because of flawed balloting.
You don’t see many conservatives blabbing to the press or TV, claiming to be victims of this, that, or the other.
It would be so refreshing for a Democratic leader to say, "My fellow party members, it’s time to face the fact that if we want to win in November, we have to give up this whiny shtick. Let’s take responsibility for our ourselves, for a change.
Instead, we hear, “The bitch set me up.”

“The PC Police are after me! They’re trying to kill Christmas!”
“And the homosexuals are destroying the fabric of society by wanting same-sex marriage!”
“My own marriage will be meaningless if two men can get married! And I was expelled from the academic establishment because I believe in Intelligent Design!”
