Nashville, Season 2

Oh, that scared rabbit on the couch talking to her friend!!!
Does she have any other facial expressions other than that??
She is on the verge of doing something very naughty.

Are u kidding me? Where are all the doctor bills and paperwork, medications, etc
For a miscarriage?

I thought it was a good show last night.
Loved the deacon daughter song bit.
Layla is a horrible singer/performer. But Juliet looked hot as hell in that number with the bi-cowboy.

Someone’s getting killed tonight – I wonder who?

Surprise, surprise - you still won’t know until the series picks back up on January 15th.

What, you think Will jumped out of the way at the last moment?

And someone trying to shoot Teddy – how random is that? (Who the hell was that guy? Have we ever seen him before?)

I felt really bad for Juliette – but Scarlett, omigod, someone needs to smack her. “How dare you be here in my uncle’s house talking to my uncle?”

Yeah, Scarlett slept with her ex!!

Yes. That episode made me put Scarlet on my don’t care about list. Whiny diva being all “anybody I know can’t touch anybody else I know but I can use you and fling you back in the pool whenever I want”.

Also, Rayna is really dialing up the stupid in her impulsive life decisions. As a crossover to the “villians who make a good point” thread, I was actually agreeing with the Edgehill Records guy. Nobody cares about albums anymore.

And I hope Peggy Cantor lives long enough to get busted for her treachery.

  1. Scarlett deserves to be eaten by coyotes - all she does is whine about her success and play the sad little waif.
  2. Yeah, what could possibly go wrong with betting everything you own - I mean, here in Vegas, you can see that is ALWAYS a great idea.
  3. And on the operating table, when hubby mentions she recently had a miscarriage, the doctor will let him know she has never been pregnant.

Did like how Rayna’s new BF dropped her the second he found out she wasn’t staying with the label.

CLASSIC:smack:
I don’t think she saw that coming!!

For once I’d like to seeing Juliet get her cold heart warmed up then broken into a million pieces. Hope Avery does her wrong.

I don’t get the Zoe/Gunnar romance.
Teddy had a hit out on him. Rayna’s Daddy reached out from prison.

Will is just playing chicken with the train. Remember he likes to do this kinda stuff.

I used to think Rayna was a smart business woman, but this risk will bring her to her knees. ( Deacon will not be there to pick up the pieces).
He will be busy with his new solo career!!

man, these story lines can go anywhere if you really think about it.
Jan 15 is a LOOOOOOOONG time

That’s all the show was lacking, Scarlett hooked on speed.

Exactly…seriously, is her middle name “Cliche”?
Granted, this is a soap opera - but still - Scarlett’s character should be tossed into a wood chipper.

It just might bring her energy level up to “Droopy Dog.”

Don’t get your hopes up.

Oh, she’s not just hooked, on speed. Her mother (Deacon’s sister) is also a psych patient.

I did like that last song, though. And the “somebody” song, even though we haven’t heard the whole thing.

It sure didn’t take much either. “Here, have some speed, let’s get back to work”. “Ok, I’ll just keep the whole bottle”.

And how quickly are all the artists going to jump from Edgehill to Rayna’s label? I give it 1.5 episodes before Juliette Barnes and Boyfriend both sign with her.

In Scarlett’s defense, he did give her the whole bottle, saying something like “just hang onto this.” So she’s not stealing drugs.

Yet.

I like drug addict Scarlet!!!
Hope she goes bat shit crazy and switches personas with Juliet.

My country crystal ball sees this in the future.
Rayna will have to battle many demons soon.
Ex hook-up supplying her rising star drugs, daddy out of jail looking for more revenge,
Her new boyfriend will end up being some kind of weirdo, Deacon becoming more of a country star and finally treating her like shit.
Her camel toe becoming more visible with each episode.

It’s just starting to get nasty again!!!

I am beginning to lose whatever tiny bit of sympathy I ever had for Will. Get over yourself, jerk.

And I’m a little surprised to be liking the Juliette-Avery hook-up – he’s so much less an asshole than he was last season. Maturing of the character or just short memory on the part of the writers?

And Teddy just standing there watching Powers Booth die – damn, that’s cold.

Daddy’s heart attack was timed so perfectly to occur in his arch nemesis’ office. Now all we need is an evil, long-lost twin to show up and this soap opera will be complete.

High Scarlet is now my favorite character. Chirpy, peppy, friendly - and all her friends felt it was weird.

And Zoe, normal persons who are not playing passive-aggressive power games with their boyfriends will tell people if they are trying to break into a new career, especially as all of their friends are in that business, and everyone else seems to have gotten there through friends, relatives or favors.
