I just discovered that today is National Dessert day here in the US.
What is your favorite dessert?
Mine is strawberry shortcake with lot’s of whipped cream on top! Yummy.

Key Lime Pie, if it’s made right (i.e., no gelatin, just condensed milk, egg yolks, and lime juice).
Chocolate chip cookies, no matter how they’re made. I’ve never met a chocolate chip cookie I didn’t like.
I love it when National Dessert Day falls on a Friday and we get a 3-day weekend.
YEAH! I think I’ll celebrate! I really like anything with chocolate, particularly brownies.
Thank you, Cabin Fever, for bringing this to our attention.
A napoleon or chocolate upside-down cake would be neck and neck for favorite dessert. Oh yeah, pecan pie too. Love the one you’re with.
I’m voting for a brownie sundae: a nice warm brownie with a scoop of ice cream on top. Covered with chopped nuts and caramel sauce.
Hard to pick, but I think it’s got to be that old standby, chocolate cake.
Dark and rich and moist, with a dark chocolate buttercream frosting.
Another vote for Chocolate Chip cookies, with Pumpkin Cheesecake hot on its heels.
I’m not in the USA, but I like dessert - can I play?
Hard to choose, but I’m going to go for trifle
Strawberry rhubarb pie with a streusel topping. Or apple & cape gooseberry crisp. (If you can get good cape gooseberries, that is. They are starting to be more available but the ones imported from Chile are pretty flavorless.)
