NBC's fall schedule

Good news – they renewed Boomtown – let’s hope moving it to Friday nights isn’t the kiss of death. (Though that’s Homicide’s old slot.)

Here’s a short piece on the schedule.

PS: John Laroquette and Christine Baranski – if they hired some decent writers, that could be a very funny show.

I’m delighted to see that Scrubs is on for another season. I’ve missed it lately because of busy Thursday nights, but I think it’s a riot.

Ed is still there? I thought it was a goner after they gave it the Friday night slot o’ death.

Scrubs had fairly good ratings. It lost a lot of Friends viewers, but held a respectable amount.

It is, quite simply, the best show on Television though.

I hope it finds its true audience this season. I could see it taking off out of nowhere like Seinfeld.

I’m glad Boomtown is returning. They really gave it the shaft this year, by preempting it with Kingpin (godawful) for sweeps month and finishing the season in mid-April.
