NCIS Q: Palmer's wife?

I thought I was fairly up to date on my NCIS episodes. In the most recent one, Jimmy Palmer mourns his late wife. Um, I don’t remember the episode where she died, and neither do WIKI nor the IMDB. Can somebody get me up to speed on this?

Yes, I was equally confused about it at first and had to check it out online, it’s not stated outright but it’s fairly plain that she died of Covid
