I missed the first couple of episodes of this season – what happened with the cliffhanger with Le Grenouille, etc.? I gatther Tony’s gf is out of the picture – was she a bad guy or an innocent?
The Frog – who was looking to get out of the biz – is dead. Jeanne was an innocent bystander. She split, leaving Tony a note saying that he needed to choose (between her and his life). He wound up burning the note.
The scene where The Frog’s body is shown floating in the water is the first time I ever noticed the show did NOT adhere to its visual gimmick – i.e., the first image of the segment is a black-and-white shot of the last image of the segment. In this case, the first image of the segment was an innocent shot of a boat.

The Frog had a bullet through the forehead. If he ain’t dead, he’s got one whopper of a headache.
I’m expecting his body to wash up on some beach somewhere.
