Now I won’t say that these have any significance to pit bulls or any fancy historical references but as a volunteer for a pit bull rescue I can share the following names we’ve used over the years.
Addante (Dante for short), Bucket, Capri, Chance, Faith, Paige, Holly, Jake, Jamie, Jill, Marci, Maya, Nova, Payton (Chicago Bears names were used for a while), Rascal, Reddick, Roxie, Saki, Sal, Sophia, Spanky, Sweetness, Sweatpea, Wiggles
Maybe that will give you some ideas!
I have changed my mind and now think the dog should be named “Sweatpea.”
Or just “Sweaty.”

A former roommate of mine had an English Bulldog named Moses. A friend of his, for some reason, though Moses looked like Winston Churchill.
So if it was me, I’d consider either Moses or Winston.
