Need help completing my bottle cap collection.

I spent the last five years collecting bottle caps of different bottles of whiskey. At first I stuck to just one size from each bottle, but soon I ran out of new bottle caps to get. Now I have expanded my collection to three different sizes of each bottle. I have hundreds of bottle caps at home. It’s a fun hobby that allows me to drink lots of scotch whiskey.

The problem now is that I need to stop drinking and have a few caps left to collect. I don’t want to waste money on buying a 1.75 liter of Ballantine 12 year old scotch if I am not going to drink it. Anyone know where I can buy bottle caps? I’ll pay for them. Anyone have bottle caps that they would like to mail me? Maybe I should just start drinking again till I finish my collection. Until then, I’ m trying to do what I can while sober.

You could buy the bottle of scotch, keep the cap. plug the bottle with a cork, and mail it to me. :slight_smile:

Have you asked around at bars for bottlecaps? I’m sure that a friendly bartender wouldn’t mind saving some, especially if you made it worth his/her while.
