I’m considering having one of my granfather’s sayings made into a tattoo, and I need help with the translation into Italian. What he used to say was “the first fifty years are the hardest, after that, life is easy”. I’ve tried a few of the various online translators, and what most of them come up with is “i primi cinquanta anni sono il più duro, dopo il quel, vita è facili”. Is this accurate?
I notice you used an apostrophe to represent an apostrophe, and then later to represent accents. I believe those should be grave accents, correct? “più” and “è”, right?
Thanks for the help, everyone. I had a feeling that the internet translators weren’t going to be accurate, and since this is going to be permanent, I want it to be correct.
