Need ISP info

I’m thinking of changing my ISP and was wondering about Netzero Platinum, their regular dial-up service for $9.95/mo. and HiSpeed, their higher speed dial-up for $14.95/mo.
I’m currently using MSN dial-up and pay about $16/mo and I like it well enough. The only reason I would change is to save the $6/mo. or get faster service, but if there are problems with the others I’d be happy to stay with MSN.
Do any users of either Netzero service have any good or bad experiences they would like to share to help me decide? Anyone have any other narrowband dial-ups to recommend?

You wouldn’t happen to be from Washington, would ya? If so, there’s a free service available.

I read about that here a while back. No, I live in Florida.
I’m thinking I’m probably going to stay with the ISP I have now.

I’d be wary of NetZero’s HiSpeed service, were I you. All it does is further compress images and cache frequently-viewed webpages, the end result of which is that you’ll see lower-quality images and not-quite-up-to-date webpages using their service. But hey, it’s [sub]up to[/sub] 5x FASTER than regular dial-up!

I’ve decided to stay with what I have.
I wouldn’t have opted for hispeed, just the lower priced service, but I installed their free service earlier yesterday and found out this morning when I used my browser’s search function that Netzero had changed the default Google to itself. That pissed me off and I uninstalled Netzero and won’t be using their crap. Fuck 'em.
About that 5x faster scam, MSN has a similar deal called dial-up accelerator that you can set from None to Level 4 for fastest d’loads and it works the same way. I have it on None now and haven’t noticed any difference when it’s on.
Thanks, guys.
