There are many English speaking Ukrainian YouTube streamers that give daily updates about the War’s frontlines and situation. The Current Events and Military Historian parts of me make me watch these almost everyday.
Between these two guys I get a fairly good ‘on the ground’ picture, the first guy is a bit of an optimist the second a pessimist, but they clearly both have access to great deals of information English Speaking Americans do not have.
This reddit community is pretty up-to-date and seems to be well connected to the myriad TikTok accounts of Russian and Ukrainian soldiers on the ground, and so there’s a lot of raw footage in there shared almost instantly as the events unfold. Bear in mind the community covers both Russian and Ukrainian perspectives, and there are many fiery conversations in the comments.
