Neither a borrower nor a lender be...

Hi,

I have an intersting game we can play.
Background:

Does anyone remember the Gilligan’s Island episode where the castaways put on a musical version of Hamlet?

I loved that episode.

It wasn’t until many years later (when I was in college), that I realized that the music that Gilligan, the Skipper and crew had used for their musical version of Hamlet was actually from George Bizet’s opera Carmen. Carmen and all the rest…

Now THAT is genius: Hamlet to the music of Carmen.
The Game:

So, every once in a while, just for fun, I think about putting an established story to an established piece of music like they did on Gilligan’s Island.

Here is a starter:

Story: Frankenstein

to the music of: Gigi

key song: “I remember it well” from Gigi, turns into “I assembled him well” in Frankenstein the musical.

Doctor: He has ten fingers!
Monster: (holding up his hand) I only have nine.

Doctor: Look at thos shoulders!
Monster: Look at my spine.

Doctor: Ah, yes. I assembled him well…
