Um no. Whites can and do celebrate their culture. It is called celebrating their ethinicity.
White people do not have a single white culture…they have Irish Polish, etc etc.
Acknowleding stuff like Mexican or black or Amerind contribuatiions to society isn’t being racist…it’s b/c for years and years and years the ONLY stuff in the textbooks was white males.
It’s exactly the way that by being proud to be Deaf (ASL user with a hearing loss) I’m simply celebrating the fact that I am Deaf, (and that can be with CIs or hearing aids) not the fact that I’m anti hearing. Being pro something doesn’t automaticly mean that the opposite of it is teh EVIL!

It may not be “tolitarian”, in that he wishes whites to be in charge, but the fact that he seems to find other minorities to be a threat is certainly disturbing. I would consider that “tolitarian”. A totalitarion ideology or movement demands absolute control over every aspect of an individual’s life and does not tolerate dissent or free expression. As I don’t believe in the superiority or inferiority of any race, and I certainly advocate or approve of anything like the “Final Solution,” I don’t have any general agreement with the Nazis. I don’t see how they were any more evil than the communists, thoug.

I am able to celebrate my Italian, Danish, and Jewish (Polish/Russian) heritages just fine while being a minority.

The fact that my neighborhood is full of people of French Canadian Catholics has not prevented me from celebrating my own heritage and culture, which is certainly in part influenced by my neighbors; if I have kids, their sense of heritage will be different from mine, as mine was different from my own parents.

And, if I’m the only one in the neighborhood eating gefilte fish, or the only one making ebelskivers for breakfast, well, it doesn’t mean I’m loosing a battle, or that my culture is disappearing, it just means I don’t share those things in common with the people around me, and that’s ok.

The point being, culture is much narrower and much deeper than black/white. To go on about it as if white culture (“civilization” . . . riiiight :rolleyes: ) is under siege makes you sound like a moron.
