Hmm…not only is the nested quote gone, but the first half of the quote is gone too.

Will it be fixed at the SDMB? No. At least not until we upgrade to a version of vBulletin that has changes to the source code.
That’s a bug. When you quote the OP, you get an extra [****/quote], even though Fenris balanced them in the OP. And I’ve seen vB strip out nested quotes properly before. What the heck didja do there?
Mainly what I was asking is “Is the ‘no nested quotes’ thing something like Private Messages that can be turned on or off with the flick of a button somewhere, or is it off unless hacked (which I know you won’t do!)”
From your answer, I assume it’s FUBAR unless hacked.
