Netflix's The Windsors

I just discovered this show yesterday. It’s fucking hilarious. Thank you ITV.

Agreed. It’s shows like this that make me grateful for the ability to make my laptop appear to be in the UK.

(By the way, not that it matters but it’s Channel 4, not ITV)

I hope there is more to come, especially as the royal wedding approaches - plenty of potential material there.

Well at least I didn’t assume it was a BBC production. :smack: I tracked down the Christmas Special on Dailymotion (Netflix doesn’t have it for some reason) and just started season 2. Meghan Markle’s showed up and Prince Harry is afraid he’ll be tossed out of the family by marrying an American divorcee because he saw it on Netflix’s The Crown.

Well for once Donald Trump wasn’t the most evil person in the room; although the idea of him being interested in a woman Camila’s age is most ridiculous thing on the show (& just how does Trump know Putin “always gets it up” ;)). Hopefully it gets a series 3. Harry & Meghan’s wedding should be interesting. How many footmen with Tasers will it take to get Princess Michael of Kent to curtsy before Meghan.

Where did you find it?

I just finished the oh-so-serious “The Royal Windsors” on Netflix, which is a nice companion re the history behind The Crown. A lot of it I already knew thanks to the ruckus in the news at the time (Charles and Diana, for example), but the show also illuminates certain aspects which weren’t entirely public knowledge, especially in earlier times.

Oh God! This is must see TV! Fing hilarious!

Prince Harry: “I’ll have to abdicate like Edward vee one one one…”

Heads up; there’s a royal wedding special up now and it’s hilarious. Even Princess Anne (or her ghost, it’s not clear if she’s dead or alive) showed up.

Started watching. It’s very good and funny, though I think you have to be familiar with UK celebrities and politics to get all the jokes.
