I think it is important to both collect solid information and to remember those who have been killed.
Why? Who are you collecting this “solid information” for? It’s not even a complete list of mass killings that have occurred; it’s just a series of online news stories you’ve found. And I hardly think writing “5 people killed” is doing much to remember the victims.

Wow. So I don’t know Paul well, though I’ve been lurking for years and recognize the name. It seems like a lot of baggage may be bringing this criticism.
But maybe we can just assume the best of Paul and take his concern about proximity tracking at face value?

While in Philadelphia the term is used all the time for a sub or hoagie that has been heated.

Collect information why? That’s the police’s job. What are you planning on doing with whatever info you collect? Name one person who was killed in the Fort Hood shooting or Parkland shooting without googling or looking back at the thread from then.
