New anti-double post feature?

Now ain’t this a kick in the pants?

I was just posting to my Zippo thread, and due to serious network issues, have to reload and resubmit my submission.

Strangely, I noticed my “[sub]” tags didn’t work anymore. :dubious:

So, I thought I corrected it, and hit “Preview Post”. It still didn’t work.

Being the intrepid soul I am, I hit “Submit” anyway. And came up “Page not found. . .”, so I backed up a page, tried it again. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Then, I get an error message from the SDMB: “This post is a copy of a post you posted in the last five minutes. You will now be taken to your thread.” :eek:

Have the hamsters gotten an upgrade, or has SkyNET taken over the SDMB?

It seems to be working now. . . since I just tried to intentionally double-post. This is the first time I’ve ever seen it. Cool!

No, but there were some 1920’s style Death Rays that fired in tandom…but that was in the 1920’s, of course.

Scalar weapons are all at fault.

That feature has been around for a while, but it doesn’t always work.
