New Daughter

Thanx everyone!

Oops! Realized some misinformation in my OP. She was born yesterday afternoon at 1:54 EST, not this morning.

No username yet. But we have up to 5 names we can use off our CS account.

What happy news! Congratulations on the new blessing in your life.

Way to go AWB!!! Congratulations!!

All the best!!

I will not use abbrev.

Congrats to you and your wife on a job well done! Beautiful name for the baby, too!

Hugs and best wishes,

If you’re not part of the solution you’re just scumming up the bottom of the beaker.

Congrats!

A word of warning–I have a three year old daughter. If your daughter is as normal as everyone tells me that mine is, you will discover that little girls are not made of sugar and spice and everything nice.

I wouldn’t trade mine for the world, though! She’s a handful, but she’s a joy. Really!

This space blank, until Wally thinks up something cool to put here.

Wow! She’s a bigun. Congratulations, and start practicing this phrase: “It’s okay honey, you sleep, I’ll get the baby.”

Congratulations!

Congratulations!

So what was wrong with the old daughter? Did you get a good trade-in allowance?
Congratulations!

Congratulations! Wow… babies!

Congratulations! You guys picked a beautiful name for her, BTW.

Fantastic! Congratulations!

Wonderful news! Sincere congratulations to the AWB household, now increased by one beautiful little girl.

Oh, and the “sugar and spice” thing is very overrated. She’ll have you parental units wrapped around one tiny finger in nothing flat.

Welcome Welcome Welcome!

Now comes the crucial part: The Cliche’s to say to your wife.

  1. You did great honey.
  2. You were a real trooper.
  3. You look great.
  4. No, you don’t look bloated.
  5. No, you didn’t tear thatbad.

Bring her a special (food) treat in the hosptial. Ice cream is the first thing that I really wanted…get some for me too, while you are up.

Best of everything and don’t worry about all the sleep lost. You’ll get over it in about 25 years.
