It’s about time! I’m in the process of finishing my re-read of the series and am on Fiery Cross. This will be perfect!
Meh. I loved the first three books, but after that, she lost me. I guess for me, the series sort of became anti-climactic after Jamie and Claire were re-united. Hell, I gave it a chance-- I read the fourth one, but I just couldn’t enjoy it as much.
Too bad. I think the fifth is my favourite. We’ll be getting it in at work, so I won’t bother to pre-order. I didn’t really like the Lord John Gray book so much.

I feel sort of the same way. I read the first 4 so far, and after the third it was kind of a soap opera. Not much historical stuff, just who’s doin’ who and who’s fighting and big strong arms and bodice ripper stuff. I enjoyed #4, but I’m not champing at the bit for 5 or 6. I’ll read 'em, but meh.
Oh, and if you want a real treat, listen to this series on audio. The reader is outstanding- one of the best read series I’ve ever listened to. A real treat.
