In such delicate situations, the preferred alternative is usually to name the cat Charlie Chaplin. (Of the many great suggestions, however, I like “Cruiser” the best.)
He’s turning out to be expensive? I suggest the name I gave a character in a series of stories - Price. Or maybe Cash

I like the James Bond idea. And he kind of looks like a James. Although I like Boris, too.

Sorry guys…work has completely eaten my life the past few days.
Our furry friend is doing quite well and recovering nicely from having his broken fang removed.
There were so many good names here I think the Mr. and I were a bit paralyzed trying to decide. 
We have narrowed it down to:
Domino ('cause he’s black and white of course)
Tucker (Aussie slang for food, and man, can this cat put it away)
Steve Austin, the $600 Cat ('cause it fits, and it really cracks us up)
We’ve promised ourselves to settle on a name this weekend. And I have told the Mr. he owes everyone a new kitty pic as well.
I think the name that is the one he has revealed is Steve Austin.
