I’m with RickJay, if deliberately choosing good is the angle they push, that’s definitely a movie I want to see. But there’d have to be temptation to not, I hope. Often Supes is portrayed as a Boy Scout. I’d much rather he was a Granny Weatherwax, IYKWIM.

One of the best parts of the '78 film is where he realises that Lois died while he was off saving everyone else. The interesting conflict, for me, is not between the moral dichotomy of right and wrong but between one’s role as a servant for the greater good vs. loyaties that you have as an individual.

He fights. Someone like him but bigger. Zod most likely. They only show flashes of it, but you get the sense of how massive a battle it is. Buildings collapsing and such.

Something like a giant spider, maybe? Everyone is afraid of spiders.
