John Edwards. Given how close the last two elections were, I believe the Democratic candidate must draw cross over votes to win. There are just too many people who i the privacy of the booth won’t vote for a woman or a Black person.
I believe the ticket will be Hillary-Edwards, though.
I’ll vote for the Democratic candidate, who ever it is.
Kucinich, or almost anyone but Hillary.
On second thought, no one, so far.
Oh I thought you meant what democrate would I like to date. In which case it would be Osamba cuz he’'s way hot.
But if you mean who would I vote for…stlill him. He seems intellgent (woulded a welcomed change), charasmatic, a lot of good ideas.
And while as a woman I’d kind ofl like lf we managed to get a chick up there (Is this so hard…our Mother counrty had it’s best moments being ruled by a woman and it about time for us…) I never trusted Ms. Clinton that much. Although we might get a decent health system at least.
This isn’t a left-wing message board, is it?
Chris Dodd sounded pretty good on the radio last week. I’ll be checking out his record before I go to the caucus. Last time I was a delegate for Edwards, but the bloom is off that rose. Richardson doesn’t look too bad. I don’t know what everyone sees in Hillary (except for getting Bill along with her), and Obama comes off as too tentative.
I drank beer with Republican friends last night, and was sorta surprised to hear them say they don’t like any of their choices.
Kucinich. I realize the guy is not taken very seriously, but I agree with him on almost every issue and I think he’s a stand-up guy. That’s what should count when you’re voting for a candidate, right?
Obama would be my second choice. After that, I haven’t really decided whether I prefer Edwards or Clinton.
Secretary of State.
If the guy was a foot taller and had better hair. He’s the least presidential-looking of any candidate since Ross Perot. It shouldn’t be so important, but it is.
carnivorousplant, that might be enough to get me to vote for her.
Do you have something to say that is pertinent to the topic at hand?
Cool.
All those “match you with your candidate” sites have me with Chris Dodd at the top. I could not have been more shocked.
And, living in NH, I will actually have a chance to vote for him…
I’m not into dating guys, so my preference to date would be the only female candidate. Why’d you want to know that? Is that like the 2000 question of which one I’d like to have a beer with?
Ron Paul.
If it ends up being Rudy vs. Hillary, I won’t even bother voting.
According to USA Todays cadidate match maker Kunich is my closest match. In reality I see the Democrats trying their level best to throw the election away. For the first time in my voting life I probably won’t participate much in the election and will probably pick which ever loser makes it to the general election.
Kucinich. Because he’s a decent and honest man from all indications. And because – hottest First Lady EVER.
After the primaries I’ll vote for the survivor of Clinton/Obama/Edwards. Of the three, I prefer Edwards… he seems to have genuinely learned from his vote vis-a-vis the Iraq debacle and I agree wholeheartedly with his contention that the Neo-Gilded Age is here to stay until you address the 800-pound gorilla in the room that the United States’ economic system is rigged beyond belief, to the point where I’ll lay 2:1 odds that feudalism rears its head on the continent within the century.
I’m kidding. On the square.
Sure, why not. I’m thinking Thompson. Too bad President Bush can’t run again, though.
I’d vote for any democrat over any republican, because I believe the problems iwth the republican party are systemic, and it doesn’t matter what kind of mask the party of batshit crazies pull over themselves, they’re still batshit crazy.
That said, I’d like the chance to vote for Kucinech, because I like his policies. Hillary not so much – as has been pointed out already, she’s kinda conservative. But ANY Democratic administration will be better than ANY Republican administration, because although the Dems are often incompetent at winning elections, they are not batshit crazy.
Yeah, damn shame.
You make a good point, though. I think there is a good argument to be made against term limits. If people wanted to vote for another GWB term why shouldn’t they be allowed to? I would find it hard to believe that he would have a chance.
I have no idea who I will vote for. If Ron Paul got the Pub nomination I would maybe consider voting for him. I’d vote for Clinton too.
I’d vote for damn near any Republican over any Democrat, (possibly I’d vote for Richardson over some of the real crazy Pubs.) No matter how the Democrats try to dress themselves up, they’re still the floundering socialists, closet racists and panderers they’ve always been.
Thompson in '08.
Edwards, Obama, Clinton, unfortunately in that order.
I really think Edwards and Obama would be great Presidents. I’m less optimistic about Hillary, but she’d be such an improvement over what we have (or what the GOP hopes to replace what we have with) that if she’s the nominee I’ll be behind her all the way.
