Thank you to SDMB poster zut for organizing the list of reference sites in the old GQ “sticky” thread:
The old, “messy” list
Now we have a brand-new, improved sticky thread:
It’s so beautiful, I want to cry.
zut even went to the trouble to create an HTML version for my website, because I was too lazy to do it myself.
The same beautiful list, on a webpage
I love you, zut!
I think that’s excellent! Bravo and thanks to all who deserve it. But can we please lock it? I fear too many violations of Rule 3.
I’ll ask the GQ moderators if they want to leave it open for any reason.

Zut, alors! Great work.
I would also suggest locking it unless you want it to get just as messy as the last one.
Additional links/sites, however could be added with the “edit” function.
I’d like to propose an addition, as a matter of fact:
Yesterdayland is a great site for general nostalgia and entertainment trivia from the 1950s on.
Great compilation. Thanks, zut!

Also:
The Nine Planets, a great resource on the solar system.
Zut, you rock! Thanks for pulling all that stuff together.
I’ll leave it open for a bit to take suggestions for an update, which we’ll (try to) do in a few months.

OK, I’m done.
If you’d like additional help with any later update, manhattan, I’m up for it.
You da (wo)man, zut. Excellent work.
