I know not many of us watch Top Shot, but I’m a regular viewer. Anybody else in?

I don’t always catch it on the first viewing but I watch. My main criticism is that with the rifle shooting they never zero the weapons. It’s not a good measure of who is the best shot just who is best at Kentucky windage.
I usually watch. It’ll be interesting to see how much talent they have this season. I expect they will be several LEO’s and ex military. I still can’t get over that kid last season winning against all those military guys.

I caught “primitive weapons” over the weeekend. Little less shooting than what I was looking for.
My husband and I watch every season. We’ll be tuning in tonight.
The first surprise double elimination caught a couple pistol shooters unprepared. I’m very suspicious the sights were off on that M14. Nobody hit a bulls eye with an M14? I think the best shot was over an inch off. I can’t believe shooters of this caliber would be that inaccurate unless the gun sights were off. I did wonder how much experience the LEO’s had in the prone shooting position. I’d expect LEO’s to practice mostly in the standing position.
After getting rid of two champion pistol shooters they naturally had a pistol competition. Gotta love these reality shows huh? I was relieved that the two woman shot well. I recall last season they claimed the woman shooters were pistol champs and they shot horribly. Both of the ladies this season did really well.
I hadn’t heard about WWII guys shooting from sidecars before. Was that really something they did routinely? I can see shooting in self defense but a sidecar on a bumpy dirt road doesn’t seem like the ideal shooting platform. No surprise that the former soldier won. Although his shooting still seemed way off this entire episode. Makes me wonder about his real qualifications.
I did not catch this episode yet but look at my comment above. A rifle needs to be zeroed. It has nothing to do with the sights being off. What is perfect for one person isn’t for another. I can put three inside a quarter and still be a foot off until I zero it. A true measure of who is better would be to give them each their own weapon to zero then let them shoot it. But I suspect there wouldn’t be enough drama. With some exceptions they have fired from pretty short ranges for a rifle.
