I’m with you. Width is more critical than heel height. In fact, I’d like to have something with a bit more heel. Shoes in my size tend to all be sandals or boat shoes 
Well, I just bit the bullet and ordered these, and I checked and they come in 11W and 11WW in all the colors except the white/bone one I orederd, which isn’t very work-appropriate anyhow. You may not like the strap, though.
Those are pretty cute. But yeah, the strap would accentuate my cankle.
I guess I’ll just cruise around Zappos some more. At least they carry so many damned shoes that they have a pretty good monster foot selection. Just means I’ll have to spend the next several months shoe shopping instead of an afternoon. Oh well.

I do have a bit of a shoe fetish. This is not the full extent of the collection, they’re just the ones that have earned a space on the rack.
Well, tremorviolet, I personally think the teacup shoes are 14,000x better than any of the three other shoes you posted. Admittedly, this is coming from a woman who is no where near as good at fashion as she’d like to be, but very much got the shoe gene.
And, frankly, the shoes are worth whatever you paid for them. As discussed in the stupid purse thread, and in the “why are designer duds so expensive” thread, quality and aesthetics are well worth paying for.
I was not able to save the money for the $500 shoes I wanted so badly before they disappeared (even off e-bay), but I assure you I was truly weighing my options. Even knowing those shoes would see the light of day even less often than your teacup shoes are likely too!
Oh, and I think the dress is fabulous.

I just got these–they’re rather simple, but they make me feel like Dorothy. Click my heels and “there’s no place like home.” They’re incredibly soft and comfortable.

Dark side indeed. I picked out those other shoes yesterday afternoon, and UPS says that they are already out for delivery to my house! GAH! I may have new pics by lunchtime. This is scary.
I like the yellow ones with the flowers. I could never wear them (scary toes) but I love strappy shoes!
Your wedding shoes are lovely, too. If my wedding plans involved ribbon of any kind I’d be asking where you got them!
Well, they showed up already (I had them shipped to the office this time).
Here they are. They are at least half a size too big, but the width is great. I’m not a fan of the color- if I go with these I’ll probably have to do the dye thing. The “bone” just looks dirty to me. It would be awesome if the patent-leather “stitches” could be masked off and remain white- sort of a reciprocal to the white dress with green detail. Or is that too cutesy?

I bought these today. Though I do like Shoes.com, (their selection isn’t as big as Zappos, but I’ve occasionally found the same shoes cheaper, and they also do the free shipping/free return thing,) I got my pair at TJ Maxx for $19.99.
I envy everyone who can wear really high heels. I’ve been drooling over some of the shoes in this thread. I love heels, but I just can’t wear anything over 2.5 inches. Ten years of job that required constant standing, plus ankle and other foot issues, ruined me for them.
They’re actually my first stop when I need club shoes. I have a pair of thigh-high red vinyl platforms that are teh awesomes

I got a red pair and a black pair. I don’t care if they’re fall/winter shoes and it’s May. I can wear them with work trousers year round anyway. The suede is so incredibly soft.
Ignore how my jeans leg looks funky here, like it’s ballooning out after the hem. I had my leg awkwardly placed.
