I used to manage a warehouse where most of the staff were semi-skilled labourers. From time to time, I had to use agency staff, and in the summer, they were often students. They were mostly useless because they frequently wanted to “improve” how we did things.
When I was appointed, I talked a lot to the workers and took as many of their suggestions on board as I could, so they were fairly happy, and the work got done efficiently. Many of the students’ suggestions would, if implemented, have triggered a union dispute, but most were just impractical. I spent far too much time explaining that the way we did things was the product of years of experience (the workers) and my understanding of the needs and requirements.
In the end, I tended to get rather rude with them, pointing out that if they are in my office arguing, they weren’t doing the job they were being paid for, so Fuck Off and get on with it.
The question is essentially equivalent to “are you loyal to the Constitution or to Donald Trump?” and everyone who answers the way he did is saying they’re loyal to Trump.
I have no hope or expectation of a certain percentage of this country ever understanding (or caring). I think these lying satchels of shit are fully aware of the facts, but what are the gonna do? Tell the (obvious) truth and ruin their big chance at a piece of the fetid pie?
I’ve only ever seen Dems ask the question, and they lower the boom when they get the expected cowardly answer. Dick Durbin, Adam S., they’re regulars in the “identify the craven cowards” game.
Probably, yes, but I can guarantee some of these guys are going to make a game of it. “Who’s got the most T Bro? Bob doesn’t want to play? Low T, for sure!!!”
Plus, when you’re deployed somewhere all living in tents and what not, I suspect most people figure out pretty quickly if someone is taking drugs regularly.
First of all, it’s HIPAA, not HIPPA. And second, from here,
Military Command Exception
The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act permits protected health information of Armed Forces personnel to be disclosed under special circumstances. Commonly referred to as the Military Command Exception, covered entities such as military treatment facilities may disclose the Personal Health Information of Armed Forces personnel to command authorities for authorized activities.
These activities include fitness for duty determinations, fitness to perform a particular assignment, or other activities necessary for the military mission. PHI disclosed to military command authorities, while no longer subject to HIPAA, remains protected under the Privacy Act of 1974.
How about someone answer that, of course, Trump won the 2020 presidential election. But that means he was ineligible in 2024 and therefore must vacate the office in favor of Kamala Harris.
I did hear one exchange that did this, more or less. After giving the shitty cowardly response about 2020, the nominee was asked who won the 2024 election. “Trump” came the reply, without qualification of any kind.
During WWII besides all that famous stuff in the Pacific theater Marines served on the ground during the Italian campaign. The Tommies alongside them dubbed them the “nursery rhyme soldiers” because their main tactic was Hey diddle diddle, right up the middle.
This was because of their main role of amphibious assault meant when they were on the beaches and beyond they were accompanied by a large number of the navy’s ships which were very expensive, very vulnerable, and never enough to go around. Accordingly they were trained to hit fast, hit hard, then when the enemy had been suitable subdued move on to the next landing.
Conserving the troops was at best a secondary consideration. Although Hegsbeth rose to Major in the army it was in non-combat roles and, the gay vibe aside, I can’t help but think there’s some fantasy role-playing going on since he was never at the pointy-end.
I liked Ossoff’s addition (when questioning Jay Clayton): “Isn’t it humiliating to be unable to answer this question — to have to indulge the president’s delusions?”
Right to the point.
And official photos will, from now on, be taken shirtless on horseback.
