NEW Stupid Republican Idea of the Day (Part 4)

That last Tommy T bit about aviation furries is a real head-scratcher. Still trying to figure out where the hell he got that.

And yet it’s more likely to have a basis in reality than his comments about trans people.

I like to think that he asked some weird question of an airline pilot and got a sarcastic response involving furries.

“Joey, have you ever been to a furry convention?”

They’re more fun than Turkish prisons.

Not even morbid curiosity is enough to elicit a desire to inquire as to how you have a basis for comparison

Isn’t LSLGuy an airline pilot? I think that explains everything. /senatorpotato

Not every story a comedian tells is strictly factual.

I’m making my coffee this morning. My mom is out on the lanai watching the morning news. She floats an earnest question through the morning air, “Honey? Do you know what Furries are? What is it?”

Didn’t need the coffee after that.

Oh, jeez. Thats gonna leave a mark…

I mean, maybe someone showed him some Anime featuring catgirl stewardesses.

I know airline staff can party - they are not called “layovers” for nothing… but it would be really hard to squeeze in a change of uniform and a full furry suit into the carry-on!

I’ll take Things That Never Happened for $600, Ken.

And immediately produced a recording of this right? Right??

I’ll take “CTE Is A Terrible Thing” for $800.

Oh FFS this is just that silly air-traffic-control audio horseplay from back in fucking mid-April.

Senator Potato or his equally delusional and/or dishonest handlers have either misremembered or willfully misinterpreted this minor incident of half a year ago, and are desperately trying to spin it into some kind of credible (for idiots) evidence of an alleged pervasive “airline industry FURRY CULTURE”. Just pathetic.

My bet is “TRANS” isn’t reaching anybody new and is just turning people off or boring them now so he’s been tasked by his masters with trialling a new group to other right before the elections. And if/when it doesn’t gain traction, it’ll get dropped pretty fast

By that logic Hugh Hefner was one of the biggest proponents of furry culture.

? Ya lost me. Referencing Playboy Bunnies perhaps?

Yes. If joking around by barking and meowing on airplane radio is a furry thing then so is putting women in bunny ears and little bunny tails.
