New "Survivor" cast announced

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, hamsters and hedgehogs, I introduce to you the cast of “Survivor: Gabon,” premiering Thursday September 18th in full-color HDTV, which means … extra-sensuous monkey footage. Yippee! Oh, and also these people:

Ace, Bob, Charlie, Corinne, Crystal, Dan, Danny, Gillian, Jacque, Jessica, Kelly, Ken, Marcus, Matty, Michelle, Paloma, Randy, and Susie.
No editorial comments from me except Bob looks almost exactly like one of the Physics teachers at my high school, but with a different haircut, and I had no idea that “pin-up model” was an actual occupation.

Hmmmmm…no knockouts to root for this time. Let me consult my “What to Look For In A Survivor” list…

    Randy just may be my boy this season. Odds are he’s out inside show #5.

Gah, reading the rest of his bio I hate him already. This might be a good season.

I have learned that a friend met Gillian while boating in Belize. I’ll be starting my rooting interests by cheering for her. That’s as close to knowing somebody on a reality show that I have been. Any show, now that I think about it.
