“Nobag” ? Really!?? The hell? I can’t wait to see the title graphics next week – “Nobag, day 23”. Or Probst: “Let’s welcome the new Nobag tribe!”
Secondly: Woo! Kenny rules! These people will do whatever he says! Including giving the tribe a stupid name! Even though he can’t get a stupid boat off a stupid stick! Three (or was it more?) tribals in a row, he was the secret puppet-master! Only Randy seems to see through Kenny’s veil (unless that TC comment was just Randy not restraining his usual asshole self, but he seemed to be complimenting Kenny).
Other offhand observations, in no particular order:
Charlie and Marcus are now in the Looove Lodge, as Charlie had always hoped. Seriously, this may be complicated, its a shame we won’t be a fly on the wall. Or maybe they’ve made their peace with being orientationally challenged friends, and good for them.
Wow, go Suzy! for making fire first. I totally expected Bob to be the fire-stud, instead it’s Suzy and <gasp!> Sugar! Rock on, girl power!
Bob makes a nice fake idol! Really, I’m impressed, that was a piece of work.
Krystal continues the tradition of running her mouth during tribal. Are there enough rolleyes in the world for her speeches? It hasn’t hurt her yet, but I can’t imagine the effect isn’t piling up for later payback.
Why was Sugar crying during TC? I didn’t think she had much attachment to Charlie. Just general stress, I suppose, she’s in a difficult position.
Wow, Randy was just a jerk during RC. I can see being frustrated about communication, but holding a grudge? Jeez, chill.
CanNOT wait for Corrine to see the business end of a tribal boot. Every word out of her mouth is pain pain pain.
Bob’s fake idol looked more real than the real one! Much better than that carved piece of wood thing Ozzy tried to pull last season. Go Bob!
Crystal has got quite an attitude for someone who was dead weight in almost every single challenge. She is absolutely useless, and the way she speaks makes my ears bleed. I can’t believe we have to put up with her for at least another week.
You know, if Bob had some moxie, he’d have left the fake idol at Exile “Island”, right where the real one should be. Or maybe he did – my impression is he took it with him when he left… maybe he didn’t?
Charlie’s post-council comments were–predictably–all about Marcus. I think he was actually happy to be voted out.
Corrine is a total bitch. I loved the look on her face when her alliance-mate Charlie was booted. Especially after she had bragged in her confessional about how easily she manipulated “stupid” Sugar.
Randy is an asshole, but I kind of find him entertaining.
Kenny has been deftly pulling strings, but he may be getting overconfident.
Sugar was indeed crying during Tribal Council. I think she probably liked Charlie and didn’t really want to vote for him, but she wanted to align herself with the Kenny-Crystal-Matty-Suzy alliance. Especially since she appeared to want to get rid of Randy ASAP.
Bob’s fake idol is the first one that actually looks like it might fool someone. Too bad he had to keep it with him instead of leaving it on the tree.
I think Sugar is playing a much more subtle game, and knows exactly what she is doing. I don’t know if it will work, but she has a plan. I have difficulty taking crystal seriously while she is refering to herself in the third person during tribal. Most people I know with that habit have a much higher opinion of their own intellect than those around them do.
Charlie’s man-crush was amusing TV, but in general he was a pretty normal human being and last night continues a general trend where the normal people are voted out, setting up a really loopy Final 8 IMO. The only stable people left are Bob and maybe Matty and/or Sugar. I’m worried that tree-mail will suggest that the next challenge has something to do with science, and cameras will find some of the tribe eating the brains from Bob’s severed head in order to get an edge.
Bob can just say that this season there was two exile immunity idols. After all, there was another individual immunity at the feast, so there’s clearly no rule that only idol exists. Of course, he could have made two fake idols and left one on the tree, too.
I am liking Bob, despite his bicycle pants swimwear, which I find highly oogy.
I hate Corrine, what a bile-filled bitch she is. You know she’s the type who will have way too many face lifts later in life. And Randy, what an asshole. “CC”? WTF was with that?
I still can’t tell whether Sugar is an unusually talented player or a complete flake.
Bob’s fake idol was just awesome. “I found a rock shaped like a skull, and I’m using some sap I extracted from a tree as glue…” I bet he could make a radio out of coconuts and a car out of bamboo too.
I’m hoping Corinne’s confessional description of Sugar as an “idiot” shows up again at the reunion show. Especially since she just lost her 2 closest allies and looks to be on the chopping block herself soon. Loved the shot of her when she realized Marcus got voted out.
While she may have called Sugar an “idiot”, or possibly just used “stupid”, the big insult was “moron”, which she triumphantly belted out. Stay classy, Corinne.
Those are her initials. (Crystal Cox.) Not sure what you mean here.
Since he’d brought her alliance with ‘GC’ being the main reason he disliked her, I’m guessing he used to refer to them as GC & CC.
I’m thinking she is very, very clever. That little smirk after her ‘oh gosh I was fooled into voting Ace out’ confession, and she seems to be the only one with her eyes open to Kenny. “He lied to me about Ace, so I don’t trust him.”
The last four boots have been men. I wonder if that will continue? If so, I’d bet on Randy being next out.
You’re correct - she used the word moron. That’s what I meant.
I think Jeff was pissed that Randy wrote C.C. instead of Crystal. Especially given that there’s another person with the first initial C in the game. He’s scolded players before for not writing someone’s name clearly. It would have been really cool if he said “Sorry, you didn’t write the name out, so your vote doesn’t count.”
I noticed something I thought was really weird during the golf challenge. Jeff had been pronouncing the Fang tribe more like “Fong” the whole season. Then, just during that challenge, he was pronouncing it “Fang” with the long A. Did anyone else hear that, or am I crazy?
This has to do with the mix-up last week, where old “Fong” got new members. The new members, particularly Corinne, decided that because “Fong” had such a long history of sucking, they were going to call themselves “Fang” to try to loose some of the bad mojo, and told Jeff to refer to them as “Fang” now.
Yeah, I understood that – I was “WTFing” his “I’m so important that I can just use whatever nickname or monogram I want and it will be clear to everyone – 'cause I’m running this here game.” I guess an  would have been more accurate to portray my reaction.
Loved Bob’s fake idol – especially compared to Ozzie’s pointy stick with 2 eye-dots.
Alas, poor Charlie…at least he’s reunited with his beloved Marcus. Oh, wait, he’s not dead.
Randy has some Serious Issues, methinks. Or he’s just a total douchebag. I couldn’t help but notice that his beef with Crystal had to do with her “posse” and her “gang”, GC. I don’t want to go all Great Debates here, but I wonder if there is some racial tension going on.
Randy does appear to me to be a racist idiot. I would give him the benefit of the doubt when it comes to “creative editing”, but he used words like, “gang” and “posse” when referring to Crystal and GC. Just MHO.
My favorite players are Sugar and Bob. Bob rocked a faked idol and Sugar just rocks in general.
I was very glad to see Suzie (as much I as have neutral feelings on her otherwise) win this challenge, she really needed it, although she might need it a lot more later on.
My hope is that they boot Randy next, followed by Corinne.
Kenny has some nice strategy up his sleeve, I would not be surprised if he somehow plots to get Sugar before Bob or Suzie has to go. It would be a good way to get them on his side if he was in a final 2 situation. I’m not sure how loyal he is to Sugar…
