Operation Fake Idol 2!

I soooooooo wanted that to work!

Bye-bye, bitchface!

Lovely parting words. I predict Corrine is going to be a “My question is…YOU SUCK!” juror…

There are some nasty, nasty people this season. What the hell did Sugar ever do to Corinne?

She exists. Sugar is smarter, better looking, more capable, friendlier and just a better person than Cunt-Face, and that makes her The Enemy.

Sonofabitch, my DVR didn’t record this tonight. Anyone willing to do a quick recap?

After the family visits(which was the reward), Bob devised a plan with Corinne to stay. He made up a story about Matty keeping the idol they threw into the ocean. He made ANOTHER fake idol and he and Corinne convinced Kenny and Crystal that they had the hidden idol. Bob won actual immunity, so they told Crystal and Kenny that they should vote for Matty to blindside him.

Kenny, being smart, decided to vote for Matty to blindside him, but Crystal voted for Corinne anyway, figuring there is no reason for all of them to vote for Matty.

Matty stayed. Corinne got the boot.

Kenny and Crystal look pissed because there was no hidden immunity idol.

I really hope in the live finale they interlace all of Corinne’s “These people are so dumb” comments with Marcus, Charlie, Randy and Corinne getting voted out. I knew once she said that Kenny and Crystal are so incompetent that the plan might work that she was a goner.

I really didn’t understand why Kenny voted for Matty. He told Crystal to vote for Corinne in case the idol was fake so she would go, but he should’ve voted for her too. Now Matty knows that someone in his alliance betrayed him.

Just a correction, it was MARCUS who Bob said had kept the idol and then hidden it around the camp. Bob also claimed that Marcus hadn’t used it to save himself because he didn’t have it with him at the tribal council where he was voted out because he thought he was safe.

I really like Bob. I hope next week isn’t his last.

Oh, yes. Good point. I got confused.

Slight nitpick, but they planned it that way - the grand plan was to vote Corinne so as to flush out the Hidden Immunity Idol and send Matty home with the second-most votes. So, with Bob and Corinne voting Matty and Sugar, Susie, and Matty voting Corinne, Ken and Crystal split their votes to ensure a majority vote for Corinne (which would be cancelled by use of the Idol) with a minority vote for Matty (which would send him to the jury).

And yes, as enalzi points out, it wasn’t necessary for Ken to vote Matty, as the two votes they knew he was getting from Bob and Corinne would have been enough to oust him had the Idol been real and their plan had worked. But remember in that case that Matty would be gone and Corinne still there, and Ken would need her to believe he was following her plan (blindsiding Matty). And you could see in the previews for next week that Ken is upset that his vote exposed his belief in Bob’s lie.

Yeah, it was a great move on Bob’s part, because even if it didn’t work it made the five all start to think about the fact that once Bob is gone, they have to go against each other. Then it’s 3 vs 2 and the only way for the 2 to get to the final is to take Bob with them. Which I hope they do.

I’m also surprised that Bob didn’t try to bring in Sugar, it seems like they have a close bond. My dream final 4 would be Bob, Sugar, Kenny, and Matty. I would be happy if any of those 4 win.

There are only two people either currently on or potentially on the jury who hate Sugar: Randy and Corrine. Everyone else is either neutral or likes her. She’s a HORRIBLE choice to take to final whatever!

That’s true, but even Randy and Corrine both like Kenny. He’s probably the biggest jury threat.

Will there be a final two this year? Why did they switch to three? What makes it any better than two?

Bob’s ability to manufacture stuff this season is making me rethink my cynicism towards the Professor-oriented storylines in Gilligan’s Island. I’d love to see what he could do with coconuts.

Maybe they don’t like the winner of the final immunity challenge being able to choose who to go up against in a final two.

Crystal must not be voted off, ever. She must be eaten by a crocodile. That is the only thing that will restore my faith in the Universe.

At least Corinne can go back to her career as a Disney cartoon villainess.

I am a big fan of Bob’s – but dear god his body oogs me out. And would it kill him to wash his damn face?

Heh. When Mrs. Bob said he smelled good (after 30+ days without a real bath or new clothes), I thought “Now THAT is love!”
