It has been a long dry spell. No new ink for the past two years. This is the simplest piece I’ve ever sat for (around 20 minutes all told); most of my sittings have been 2 to 4 hours. It is on my lower calf, inside, just above my ankle.
I can’t believe how many people recognize this as soon as they see it.
Anyone?
I don’t recognize it but it’s cool.
Isn’t it the instructions on a chopsticks wrapper?
I presume it is some how to hold/use chopsticks diagram from a food chain.
Yes. In an informal survey, 90% of our friends knew it right away.

Instructions on how to use chopsticks.
Moved to MPSIMS from Cafe Society.
I almost went there originally, but I thought “food” and “art”.

That is awesome. I, too, love whimsical tattoos.
I agree - they are the most interesting. So many “deep, meaningful” tattoos seem to come off as trying too hard.
I have a friend with a tiny - maybe a half-inch - yellow duck on his calf. It’s my favourite of his tattoos!
