Don’t forget he also moolah rolling in from selling the movie rights to the coffee table book. I believe that was the episode in which he retired and moved to Florida.
Jerry: Brains? Newman, you wouldn’t eat brains if it was deep-fried in chocolate sauce!
Newman: I love brains. They’re…good for you.
Jerry: Then maybe you’d like to try a piece?
Newman: Gladly. [chews brains, then spits it out] VILE OFFAL!
I know this is a zombie, but here’s something I’ve always noticed…
The cashier (her real name and the character’s name is Ruthie Cohen) appeared in the background of dozens of episodes (IMDB says 100) and she only had a speaking part once.
Well, to keep this zombie undead: When WGN began airing reruns of ALF, it was with great surprise that I noticed Raquel Ochmonek was played by Liz Sheridan, who also played Jerry’s mom on Seinfeld. I had seen ALF in its prime, of course, but later, when I began watching Seinfeld, it had been so long since I has seen an episode of ALF, I never noticed that Helen and Raquel were played by the same person.
Kramer’s car was a green or brown GM vehicle, roughly between 1970 and 1974, but there was more than one. I’m not sure how many, but I know that one was a Chevrolet (Caprice or Impala), and one that they showed a lot of exterior shots was a Pontiac. If you weren’t paying close attention, it would appear that they were all the same car.
I intended to start watching again just to see if I could ID the car(s) but never got around to it.
