I don’t know what is being taught in schools these days. It seems like a statement like “the sky is blue,” and the chant will begin; that’s racist, that’s racist, that’s racist, that’s racist…
Ask about news events, and the chant begins.
It’s almost like the old science fiction thrillers are coming true. Let the chant begin!
Hey, it’s my pleasure! For a balanced view, I guess we’ll also need some feedback from posters who support death threats against innocent people, vigilante bounties, and looting.
Almost the entire thread has been feedback from people who are in denial that any such thing even exists. But hey, it’s a free country! I asked for people’s thoughts. I’m getting what I asked for.
It’s kind of disturbing that some of them seem like zombies chanting a political line that they were indoctrinated with in elementary school. (Not to mention any sci-fi connection!)
I could go on. There’s hundreds of these pictures. Time was, they sold them as postcards.
So I think, in answer to your question, that there’s really no comparison between a real lynch mob, and your “new wave” mobs, and anyone with even a little bit of historical perspective is going to find the comparison more than a little offensive.
Thank you for continuing down the racist one track mind set. If I wanted to be a racist like you, I could post atrocity black on white crime pictures all day. What would it get me?? I would be called a racist. Jesus Christ, people, is there anyone with a functioning brain left in this zombie world?
In the OP I was asking about news stories that were on TV that night. I was not asking about stories from 100 years ago, 75 years ago, 50 years ago…do you see what I’m asking Diana??
Reading the replies to this post, I’m starting to think there is more bias now (reverse racism) than there was 100 years ago. Is it just the pendulum swinging?
Thank you for trying to provide an honest answer without resorting to the zombie chant!
Or, alternatively, the phrase “lynch mob” has a very specific connotation which you are fully aware of and using specifically so that when people point out the inherent racism you get to scream about how we’re all “reverse-racist”.
Dude, you totally screwed up the story. The Samaritan woman at the well had a philosophical discussion with the first known liberal. The lynch mob story was with a different woman entirely.
I thought I had explained my use of the phrase “lynch mob” in an earlier post. In case you were bored and looking for thrills elsewhere, I’ll explain it once again:
The maddened crowd, thirsty for blood, have their flaming torches lit. They are moving down the street, kicking children out of the way. They are throwing rocks thru windows. Some of them in the back are taking advantage of the broken store windows (never mind that)… DEMANDING JUSTICE! The sheriff better get his ass out of the way. (Sorry, better get HER ass out of the way, Diana) The sheriff usually gets plugged during those Texas lynch mob riots, or the leader of the Texas lynch mob gets plugged by the sheriff, and the rest of them go home to smoke crack.
Does any of this sound vaguely familiar to you Diana?? If it doesn’t, I would suggest Celebrity Sex Symbols on TV right now, cause I don’t think I can type much more…
