I’ll be curious to learn if they’re going to add more innkeepers in different parts of the capital cities, so that we have options as to where in a city we want to hearth. I sure hope so - otherwise we’re going to have the same situation we have in Dalaran: people who rarely/never budge their toons from their hearth location, just log in and stand in one place while they wait for their queues to pop, resulting in such a huge crowd of people around the innkeeper that you can hardly find her in there (which is why I set my Dal hearths with the Assistant Innkeepers in the backs of the inns). And the inns in SW/IF/Org are so much smaller than the ones in Dalaran. And if you think about it, it’s really kind of silly for a major city to have only one tiny little inn.
I think Ironforge has two inns. There’s one between the AH and the Mage Trainers, and the other one down near the battlemasters. At least I think that’s an inn. Definitely a bar.
I also want to say the Pig & Whistle in Stormwind’s Old Town has an innkeeper, but to be honest I don’t know for sure. In any case it wouldn’t be difficult to add one there.
Just dropped in to say I got “Double L” (Wollkie) settled in at the Exodar. He’s sitting in the auction house there and there’s a mailbox right outside so Da Wolk’ can send him his leather and other valuable drops and he can make us money. Thanks, SFG for the detailed instructions and both you and Oakie for the reminders.
Wolkie is also using the bank at Exodar when he wants to store something for later use. We’ve had it with SW for now.
Thanks

PS: Thanks Tom Scud, for the tip on the netherweave cloths. Saved me a bunch of trouble.
Nope, checked every NPC there, and no Innkeeper.
w00t! My mage has new boots! First try!
Also, according to Recount, she did 4141 DPS on that run (and still ranked only 3rd).
I really should have made a chart of who wants what recipe where and who has what ingredient where. I’m running around like a hawkstrider with its head cut off.
Okay well, hmmmm. Got Wolkie to Grand Master First Aid (yup we bought every damn cloth we needed! ;)), but I notice from checking google, once Cat starts we have 75 more points to go to get to the new top.
Meanwhile I’m going to work on his next profession: cooking. Someone upthread said I could close to level with the Thanksgiving feast tables, yes? So all he has to do is sit down at a particular food table and wait till the flashing light within his portrait goes out?
Tried that outside the Exodar yesterday, and he sat there forever.
Thanks

Okay, I went upthread and read what Skammie posted and apparently (as usual) I’m wrong. Supposed to kill turkeys and get recipes and stuff. So what do the tables and the different foods give you? Some kind of stamina, maybe>
Thanks

I’m getting completely baffled and pissed off at the way it keeps springing the “make 5 of X” quests after you turn in the “make 20 of Y” quests. They screw with each other because if you have both the 5 and the 20 versions of quests for the same food, and you’ve made the 20, both quests show up in your quest log/tracker as “complete”, so you forget to make the 5 extras, then you end up turning in the 5 quest first and now you don’t have enough for the 20 quest so you have to go all the way the hell back to whatever city sells the main ingredient for that dish, make the 5, then go all the way back to the other city… I swear my mage burned through 9 Runes of Teleportation just trying to get those all done. I would have been punching my screen going through all that on non-teleporting toons.
I don’t know what you read, but that’s completely wrong. You level Cooking by … cooking. This holiday lets you quickly and easily level your Cooking to 300 (not max) by purchasing the recipe book from the vendor near the tables, and cooking enough of all the recipes.
Yeah, I re-read the post, sorry.

This is actually a good example of something that will, in the future, be even MORE hellacious without the Dal and Shatt portals.
ETA: And the sad thing is I have to do all of the dailies at least one more day because I need to buy the turkey shooters for Turkey Lurkey.
Well, just soloed ZG and put up lots of rep coins & bijous on the AH at exorbitant prices. Here’s to hoping i make a small fortune tonight lol.
I was originally just going to turn them in myself, but i’m only barely into ‘Honored’ and it would take way to many to actually make it to exalted.
And no mounts dropped
Only have two holiday achies to get for the Pilgrim meta: Pilgrim’s Peril and Turkey Lurkey.
Pilgrim’s Peril is pretty obnoxious. You can’t sit down if you’re in combat – good luck with the infinite guard spawn! In this case, I thought having PvPers around was actually a boon – I’d let them kill me so I could just sit down as soon as I rezzed instead of fighting there trying to beat the guard spawn timer. Oh, and fuck Darnassus. Fuck Darnassus straight up the pooper.
Congrats! I finally got those last night, and was very happy. My mage is very catch-as-catch-can, and still has some 70 gear on >.<
But she has a shiny new robe and sandals and necklace now. <3
Gah! When they said they were going to leave the invasion boss portals up permanently, I assumed that meant the actual invasions were going to stop. Wishful thinking on my part! These elementals are making it really hard to do the Pilgrim stuff on my lowbie toons. Fly into SW or IF, and you’re stuck.
This is great!
I am a turkey. <struts proudly>
I was born on Thanksgiving, and my name means Christmas, so a picture of me as a turkey in the Turkey chair is just awesome.
Why yes, I am easily amused.
Why do you ask?
OTOH, my PvP server has a stupidly low Alliance population, so it was no trouble at all for my level 22 warrior to earn The Turkinator - no competition!
Though that same low population means nobody to fight off the elemental invasion, so it just goes on and on and on…
I like Occulus because you get some free gems at the end. You used to get extra badges too but not so much any more.
