I see that now, but I swear I saw one of those blue see-through fields in SW a few nights ago, martu, and they were for the gathering of flags. Even had the number “1” quest in it.

Yes, 4.3 is a patch. Expansions have names rather than numbers.

Actually, xpacs have numbers, too…they go to the next whole number. Mists of Pandaria will take WoW to 5.0.

Yes. You actually never have to buy it, as long as you don’t mind not being able to play a pandaren or see the new areas or be able to advance Wolkie to lvl 90.

Shit. I’ve lost that yellow arrow that shows me which way to fly. Can’t click on the quest and then see that tiny map anymore.

THIS is what I’m talking about.

I’m supposed to gather 4 hycacinths to give to that lady, but I don’t have that yellow arrow anymore, so I’m flying around and around and can’t find where those flowers are because all I get when I click the min-map is a picture of the land, and no fucking arrow. I checked for updates for QH and there aren’t any. Tom tom had one and I updated, but that didn’t help either. Also (this is on Curse) Gartherer had an update, and I did that one too, but so far, no big yellow taxi.

And here’s that “Acquire Banner” quest I’ve been telling y’all about. Look at what it says to do and then look at where I am: Stormwind City.

I have run the cursor/mouse over everything but my own dick, but I can’t find any banners.

The hyacinths are around the base of the dam just west of Dalaran in Northrend.

I know where they are, but without that arrow helping me, and them (the hyacynths) showing up right next to the dam (they don’t and they used to), I have no clue as to where to go, jay.

ETA: All I have now is a big green arrow showing me where to turn the flowers IN, but if I don’t have them, I don’t complete the quest, and this has been going on ever since I signed on today. Guess I better start another ticket. Also, all the add-ons are okay.

If you’re not getting sparklies for them and you’re getting a green turn-in arrow, check your bags carefully. You may have gathered them for a prior time when they were the daily and forgotten to turn them in then. So they’d still be in your bags, the ones by the dam won’t be sparkling, and you’d be getting the turn-in arrow instead of the gather-stuff arrow. Since they’re a quest item, their icon in your bag will have a yellow border, which makes it a little easier to find them if they’re there.

I logged in with my Burning Dog Legion main toon, Kalathan, last night, and got invited by Rottingbird to join his guild on another Firelands non-heroic 10-man raid (I’d run with them Thursday before last). We were also joined by Makig from the BDL.

Had a fabulous time, and an excellent run. We made it all the way through with no wipes, and managed to take down Ragnaros on the second try. I know Makig picked up at least one upgrade, and I really cleaned up. I got theSkullstealer Greataxefrom Shannox, the Breastplate of Shifting Visions from Staghelm, and finally theHelm of the Firey Conqueror token dropped from Ragnaros himself. :slight_smile:
