It’s nice to see Dick Clark every New Year’s Eve, but now half of his show is either rap or Rod Stewart singing ballads. AND IT’S PRE-RECORDED.
MTV has the cooler bands, and it was fun watching a stoned Brittany Murphy get blitzed, but then the show ends at 12:30! What kind of New Year’s Eve is THIS when you end the party at 1230, and put on the friggin Osbournes? I though MTV was “cool”? . . .Like me switching through channels at 130 am on New Years Day!
Where’s Guy Lombardo? (I know, dead) Why doesn’t anyone have someone perform “Aud Lang Syne” on New year’s Eve?
I couldn’t find any other New year’s shows: just MTV and Dick Clarke. Did I miss any?
