New Year's Eve: What are you Drinking?

I was given a bottle of almond champagne which I thought I’d try, but I’m afraid. Almond champagne? You know, I never intend to get tipsy, but I’m a very cheap drunk, so giddyness is likely to occur.

Have you tried Dead Guy Ale? It’s good enough that I’m going to try more stuff from Rogue.

Lindeman’s Kriek Belgian Lambic. Yum.

I am drinking right now, a Tootsie Roll. Tanqueray Vodka, Godiva Dark Chocolate Liqueur, Grand Marnier. Shaken with ice and poured into a cocktail glass containing a chocolate drop on a fru-fru tooth pick. It is yummy!

My version of a Mimosa: champagne and peach-orange-mango juice. It’s much tastier (to me at least) than simple orange juice. :slight_smile:

Kir (champagne with a drop of creme de cassis).

I’m done for the night, but we went: Pitcher of white russians (yay, although I was too lazy to make them!), Pitcher of mudslides (yay, although I was too lazy to make the mudslides), shots of tequila, and then I started drinking some smirnoff ices and beers… and… umm, I’m done for tonight.

Fun.

No alcohol for me. When I go out dancing, there are other recreational substances that I prefer ;).

I am now enjoying a champagne cocktail made with cranberry juice, sparkling wine, and sour cherry syrup.

That’s what I had! Though I went a little generous on the creme de cassis since part of the reason I was making those was to accomodate a friend who only likes sweet liquor.

Surprisingly potent.
