What's your favorite drink?

Well, inspired by this pit thread and my impending departure to a bar, I’m deciding to increase my repertoire of drinks.

Personally, I’m a Crown and Coke kind of guy. So what’s your poison of choice?

Black Russian (Kaluha and vodka)

Um… I like Mike’s Hard Lemonade… and chocolate daquiris…

Mixed drinks, I’ll take whatever you throw at me. If I’m mixing my own, I usually make buttery nipples, because they’re layered and therefore fun.

Im a GT man, but I really enjoy White Russians(“Caucasians”) and fruity frozen drinks like Piña Coladas, Daqueries, and Margaritas.

I think if I were stuck on a beach for the rest of my life with a private bartender I would drink mostly sangria or Tinto con Límon(Red wine with lemonade, a popular drink in Spain).

Coffee with milk and a double shot of Kaluha. Nice after-dinner drink.

Margarita, Bloody Mary, and straight shots of tequila.

Tanqueray and Tonic, my favorite drink.
I don’t like anything colored pink.

Margaritas.
Though I now also have a special place in my heart for this chocolate-minty drink that’s just like Thin Mints.

I’m a big fan of Sex on the Beach (the drink, you pervs! ;)).

Vodka and coke, if I’m going for the hard liquor.

If I just want a beer, either Killians, Bass, Harps or Guiness (in that order). All from tap, please!

Good choice of beers, TruePisces. I’d move Guinness into a tie for first with Killian’s, though.

Lately I’ve become a gin martini man. Vermouth? Pah. Hold up the glass and say “vermouth” over the gin, and then you’ve got a good martini.

I’m a big fan of sex on the beach. (Not the drink, you alkies! )

(Sorry ultra, couldn’t pass that up. )

I make homemade ginger beer (unfermented, non-carbonated), and man, an ice-cold glass of rum and ginger beer suuuure does go down easy.

At a bar, I just like a whiskey & Coke.

…grumble…grumble…damn smart alecks. Boy, do I love 'em.

I felt like sharing that, as beer goes, I don’t think you can go too wrong with Sam Adams. I particularly recommend the cherry wheat.

Gibson - gin w/pearl onion
Old fashioned, but was a favorite of Cary Grant in movies.

Martinis; bourbon highballs and bourbon Old-Fashioneds (hold the fruit salad; just a twist of lemon, please); Chiantis and St. Emilions and Spanish tintos; cheap American Pilsener beers from smallish breweries…not microbreweries, I mean breweries like Piels and Strohs and such. And Guinness stout, now that I’ve been to Ireland.

I am one of those weird ones who has numerous favorite drinks. It all depends on the mood.

If I want a cold beer on a hot day: Shiner Bock
If I want a warm beer after dinner: Guinness
If I want to get drunk: Screwdrivers (vodka and OJ)
If I want a cocktail: Cape Cod
If I want a shot of whiskey: Murry McDavid
If I want a shot of Tequila: Silver Petron’, cold
If I want a mixed shot: Kamakazi (vodka and sour mix I think)

I guess Shiner would be my favorite since I drink it the most, but I do love my Screwdrivers.

Vodka with lime and 7Up, Guinness, boilermakers (the real beer-and-shot kind… don’t give me any of this Dr. Pepper bs), and, when I’m feeling particularly candy-assed, screwdrivers with either vodka or gin.

Agree with most of the beer recs. I like Sierra Nevada and Whitbread as well.

Bombay Sapphire (gin) & Tonic
Rye (Old Overholt) and seven - try it, you’ll like it!
Gold Patron tequila (room temp) to sip with a beer
Johnny Walker Black (scotch) & water
Colorado Bulldog
Maker’s Mark Manhatten

Irish coffee, if I’m not serious about getting plastered. Otherwise, gimmie Crown and Coke.

Wine/winelike–mead (my homebrew, preferably)
Mixed–margarita (Am I the only who puts honey in 'em?)
Shots–Midori melon/Sambuca (depends on my mood)
Beer–I don’t drink beer
