Leaving your first post blank will certainly attract attention. You’ll also attract the attention of our moderators, and not the good sort of attention at that.
Unless it is just another example of the little glitch that pops up every now and again where the person who starts a thread doesn’t have the OP posted to it.
It’s not miss_fit that’s to blame it’s the board. This is happening quite a bit. The OP just disapears. A blank post would be just that a post with nothing in it but there would be still a post there.

If I was a newbie who wanted attention by posting I was a newbie and my post dissappeared, I’d comment on it.
Me thinks this was one of those N/T things.
It’s a board glitch. I’ve seen several of them today. Damned traffic. Go away you people. The boards run much more smoothly without y’all.
