Newton Poetry (I found my old Newton MP110!)

I dug out one of my old camera bags this afternoon so I could play with my Mamiya RB67, and alongside the RB67, I found my old Apple Newton MessagePad 110! :smiley:

it still works great, a new set of batteries and it was up and running again, still doing a pretty good job of translating my handwriting

I read online that some people used to create “Newton Poetry”, writing in actual poems and see how the Newt translated their writing, or even poems made up of random scribbles, and the like

I decided to challenge my Newt with some VOGON poetry;

Here’s the Newt’s version of that infamous poem

Hmm, I like the Vogon’s better…

next, I tried a Scribble-Haiku, 5 scribbles, 7 scribbles, then 5 scribbles;

Surgery nor by nosy under
my sense pork argues looks possess boss
Morris Zion propose shoe wage

???

I’d like to open this thread up to suggestions, post a Haiku you’d like to see translated into “Newtonian”, and I’ll enter it and post the (mis)translation, one haiku per post, please…

Just for fun, I entered my last line in the OP into the Newton and was quite impressed with it’s translation…

the Newt only had trouble with the first “I’d”, “I’ll” and (Mis), mainly because contractions and parantheticals are not in it’s database
