I thought the Chiefs were going to win. But a lot of the game was tough to watch. Mahomes is usually hot in the red zone. Not sure what more the 49ers defence could have done.
How big was that blocked extra point.
So who came closer in the SD score guess?
The 49’s defence was incredible this game really tough loss for them.
Yeah. That was a great play. Then the punt fumble.
I never called for him to be benched as in taken completely out of the game. It wouldn’t have hurt to pull him in the 2nd quarter and get his head back in the game. He was taking too long to throw and needed to speed it up or run the ball. He made a couple of game altering runs in overtime.
I think the best comment of the game–sadly, I don’t remember if it was referring to the offense or defense–was that San Francisco “suffered from self-inflicted injuries, they’d be ten points ahead”.
And whoever it was in the Chiefs stupidly smacked somebody in the face and gave up 15 yards and that fantastic first touchdown… can finally relax that they didn’t lose a Super Bowl with that dumbass move.
Lol sure Tom Landry, brilliant plan.
Indeed.
Now the real question, did Jason keep his shirt on?!?
I haven’t seen a shot of Jason, is he in a commentary box somewhere maybe?
He was in the same suite as Taylor.
Oh wow, csonka, amazing player there.
Mahomes was 11 of 13 for 123 yards in the first half. Those are good numbers. Slightly better than Purdy, who was 10 of 15 for 123 yards.
Larry Freaking Csonka!
I squeeded.
I know this isn’t the pit, but that might be the dumbest post of the day.
No no no you just don’t understand the strategic advantage that benching your multiple MVP multiple super bowl winning quarterback gives you. Patrick needed to be shamed in the super bowl for some reason.
SF’s defense was brutal. taking him aside for 5 minutes might have gotten him on track faster. He eventually ended up doing what he should have been doing earlier. It made a huge difference running the ball instead of taking a hit and losing ground.
I’m not sure why you think this would be shaming him.
What was up with Tony Romo and his love of the word “leverage”? Was there a prop bet for how many times he would say it?
