Amari Cooper is one of the most underrated players in the league and I thought that before he was even on the Browns. I hope the elite dragon keeps chucking it and they take a run at the NFL single game receiving record.
I have some issues with Stefanski but he should probably be one of the leading contenders for coach of the year. The browns are on their 4th quarterback and are leading the league on IR and they’re 10-5 in the toughest division.
Not to his credit, the Browns are leading the NFL in giving up turnovers and have the most points off turnovers scored against them, and yet, again, 10-5. Pretty remarkable.
Flacco now has 7 interceptions in 4 games, but the Browns’ awesome defense is continuing to dominate, so he’s getting the wins and a ton of hype. If the Browns get to face the Bears and a Stroud-less Texans in the playoffs, they’ll be in great shape.
Browns placekicker is injured, so they keep going for it on fourth down. And every time Flacco finds Cooper for a first down. Cooper now has 11 catches for 265 yards and two touchdowns.
ETA: The Lions have just won their first divisional title since 1993.
The Jets are pulling a huge yak job. They led 27-7 at half and now trail Washington 28-27 with 2 minutes left. This is the kind of game that may get Robert Saleh fired.
The Lions win 30-24 to win their first division title since 1993. As a result, Ford Field will host its first ever home playoff game (the only previous postseason contest there was Super Bowl XL).
The Packers beat the woeful Panthers, 33-30, to keep their playoff hopes alive, but holy hell, their defense really tried to give that game away. They were up by 14 points in the 4th quarter, gave up two Bryce Young TD passes to tie it up, and after pulling ahead with a field goal, the Pack nearly let Carolina get off a last-second field goal to tie it back up.
By “win” I mean another step in their effort to get good draft positions, though that first pick is going to Chicago. If I was a Bears fan I’d be cheering the crap out of every Panther loss.
Brisset is 31 years old, has 48 starts in the NFL, is in his 8th year, and is on his 5th team. His “potential” has pretty clearly been realized: he’s an OK NFL backup.
